A K9's Purpose is a sports based kennel specializing in Obedience, Protection, Service Dogs, and Search and Rescue. Every breed was created for a reason and we strongly believe that every dog should have a job of some sort. Mental AND Physical stimulation is required for most dogs to be happy and healthy. Whether you are looking to train a working dog, sports dog, or house pet we can help you create a healthy relationship between you and your dog.

During their stay at A K9's Purpose your dog will receive the best possible care. Unlike most boarding facilities or training schools, your dog won't stay in kennels between training time. They are treated as one of my own, they stay in the house and become part of my pack. This allows for efficient teaching of manners and house training.
We will discuss your expectations and any problems you may be having, and I will inform you of what results to expect in the chosen time frame. You will be sent pictures and videos and be updated on the process of the training. At the end of the training, we will do a one hour session where I will demonstrate any new skills, make sure you are doing the commands properly, as well as inform you of all important information regarding training at home.

We use a unique combination of positive reinforcement and corrections based on each dog. My rates are usually less than half of all competition, even with 10+ years of experience, in an effort to encourage more people to train their dogs and reduce the number of dogs being dumped due to behavioral issues. My overall goal is to provide healthier relationships between owner and pet to try and reduce the amount of unwanted pets. I even provide discounted rates for rescuers that are trying to rehome multiple dogs.
